Kara Jamison is the grower and educator behind Blooming Joy Flower Co., sharing the beauty and practical craft of growing cut flowers from Middle Tennessee.
The story behind the name
Beauty grew from heartache.
Kara began growing cut flowers in 2018, a few years after losing her mother, Joy, to breast cancer. Blooming Joy is both a tribute and a mission: create beauty, share it generously and help others find their own connection to the garden.
Kara lives with her husband and four children on a six-acre farm in Middle Tennessee, where she grows in Zone 7. Her hands-on experience now fuels the education she shares through digital guides, social content, workshops, podcasts, television and speaking engagements.
